After reading 'Improving Student Achievement'by Toni Glasson, I've confirmed some of my beliefs concerning marking student assessment and most of all, gained some clarity in the area of giving feedback. Not only do I need to give a remark on how to improve, I would also add a remark as to how the student has achieved :)

I absolutely agree on this post. It's very important for a student to know where to improve on and what has been done correctly in the assignment.
