Near death experiences

First day at work after Dengue - my colleagues have much to tell me. For example, one guy who had the fever because of dengue, died within three days of diagnosis. Others talked about car accidents.

I'm alive. I am given a chance some people do not have. I should be more grateful, or even jubilant at life. But perhaps I still feel weak, so I at best feel good, not shouting for joy yet.

Next month when I'm fully recovered, I should be able to rejoice properly.
